Excellent conditions prevailed also on the final day during the Medal Races of the 470 European Championships on the Black Sea in Bulgaria
The 470 men winners Anton Dahlberg/ Frederik Bergström SWE were known prematurely before the last heat, but nevertheless, the confirmed their superiority winning the Medal Race as well. Stuart McNay/David Hughes USA defended their 2nd place overall. Panagiotis Mantis/Pavlos Kagialis GRE and Malte Winkel/Matti Cipra GER ranks 3 and 4 grasped Silver and Bronze in the European Championship rankings.
Tina Mrak/Veronica Macarol SLO kept their big advantage winning their second European title after 2016. On rank 2 followed Frederike Loewe/Anna Markfort GER, and Nadine Böm/Ann-Christin Golliass GER took the Bronze Medal. First in the Medal Race were Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI moving up on rank 6 overall.

The qualifications for today's Medal Races were concluded yesterday in Bulgaria with two races sailed in a 10kn seabreeze and sun.

Perfect conditions with sun and an 18kn wind prevailed again on the 4th day of the 470 Europeans in Bulgaria and both fleets completed 3 races each.
With the day ranks 2/2/1, Tina Mrak/Veronica Macarol SLO took the overall lead in the 470 women. Gil Cohen/Noa Lasry ISR are down on 2nd with a 2 points deficit. New on rank 3 are Amy Seabright/Anna Carpenter GBR. The Qualification Series for tomorrow's Medal Race will be concluded today with two races.

Changed conditions on the third day of the 470 Europeans on the Black Sea with a 15-18kn breeze during the races 4 to 6, and the experienced teams moved on top.
Mantis/Kagialis GRE took the lead in the 470 men with two race wins ahead of Sozikin/Gribanov RUS at equal points. Dahlberg/Bergström SWE on the 3rd place are 5 points back. Stuart McNay/David Hughes USA are 8th.

In the 470 men, the young teams took the command with the Junior World Champions Hyppolite Macchetti/Sidoine Dantes FRA, day ranks 2 and 4, on top.
