A-Cat - World Championship 2018 - Hervey Bay AUS - Final results

 A-Cat - World Championship 2018 - Hervey Bay AUS - Final results The A-Cat World Championship 2018 in Australia was concluded today with three races sailed in moderate winds.
Glenn Ashby AUS, outstanding winner of the Open Championship, added two more bullets on his results sheet and grasped his 10th Class Worlds title. Mischa Heemskerk NED, 9 points behind earned Silver, the 49er and America's Cup Champions Peter Burling and Blair Tuke NZL duelled for Bronze, and Tuke, the crew, relegated his helmsman Burling on rank 4 with a 2 points advantage.
In the Classic rankings, Andrew Landenberger AUS won 7 of the 9 races and clearly secured the Worlds title ahead of Scott Anderson AUS. Alberto Farnesi SWE advanced on the final 3rd place.

 A-Cat - World Championship 2018 - Hervey Bay AUS - Day 3 - Too windy Too much wind at the A-Cat Worlds in Australia this morning UTC and racing had to be cancelled for the day. Yesterday, we informed about the positions after 5 races before the final heat of the day was completed.
The rankings on top did not change: Glenn Ashby AUS remains leading in the Open classification 5 points ahead of Misch Heemskerk NED. New on rank 3 is Blair Tuke NZL.
In the Classics, 9 races have been completed. Andrew Landenberger AUS leads with a 5 points' advantage on Scott Anderson AUS. Graeme Parker AUS is 3rd.

 A-Cat - World Championship 2018 Hervey BAY - AUS - DAY 2 Racing is underway in Australia this morning UTC and two races have been completed so far.
Glenn Ashby AUS extended his lead with another race win in the Open rankings. Mischa Heemskerk NED on rank 2 is now 11 points behind. Darren Bundock AUS, best of the day so far with the ranks 4 and 1 moved up on rank 3.
In the Classic rankings, Andrew Landenberger AUS added another race win as well and is now 9 points in front of Scott Anderson AUS. Graeme Parker AUS, day ranks 1 and 2, climbed on rank 3 overall.
