 49er, 49erFX, Nacra 17 - Junior World Championship 2019 - Risor NOR - Day 3, Bonin/Bonin CAN qualify for 49er Goldfleet Spectacular racing in Norway yesterday in an up to 25kn breeze. The Nacra 17 sailed downtown in front of numerous spectators, the 49ers were out on an offshore course completing three races. ----- Finishing 2/1/1 in the 49ers, Isaac McHardie/William McKenzie NZL extended their lead on 15 points. Kurt Hansen/Simon Hoffman AUS and Scipio Houtman/Manus Offerman NED follow on the ranks 2 and 3. William + Samuel Bonin CAN on 26th just made the Goldfleet cut as best of the 4 CAN skiffs. No USA entrants among the 53 teams. ----- In the 49erFX, Willemijn Offerman/Elise Ruyter NED have taken the lead ahead of Vilma Bobeck/Malin Tengström SWE with a 4 point backlog on rank 2. Georgia + Antonia Lewin-LaFrance CAN are six places up on 22nd among the 36 teams. No USA entrants. ---- In the Nacra 17, Gianluigi Ugolini/Maria Giubilai ITA are now 2 points ahead of Natacha Pedersen/Matthias Bruun DEN. Silas Mühle/Romy Mackenbrock GER advanced on rank 3.  49er, 49erFX, Nacra 17 - European Championship 2019 - Weymouth GBR - Final results, Only North American top-20 finishers are the 49erFX womwn teams Henken/Tunnicliffe USA (10th) and Tenhove/Millen CAN (15th) In the 49ersFX , the Olympic Champions Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA remained on top thanks to their huge advantage after the qualification phase winning the title ahead of Annemiek Bekkering/Annette Duetz NED and the Medal Race winners Helene Naess/ Marie Rönningen NOR. Paris Henken/Anna Tobias Tunnicliffe USA finished the Medal Race on rank 9 and remain on the exellent 10th place overall, a promise for the women skiff races ahead. Alexandra Tenhove/Mariah Millen CAN finished on rank 15. The 49erFX ranking list and the final report. ----- The very light winds, keeping the Nacra-17 non-foiling during most of the races, reshuffled the rankings considerably. The clearly leading Ruggero Tita/Catarina Banti ITA finished last in the Medal Race and were relegated on rank 4 overall. First of the crucial race were Ben Saxton/Nicola Boniface GBRgrasping the European Champions title ahead of John Gimson/Anna Burnet GBR to make it a GBR one-two. Lin Cenholt/Christian Lübeck DEN earned Bronze. Sarah Newberry/David Liebenberg USA are 24th, Allie Surrette/Max Flinn CAN 50th. Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA dominated the 49erFX fleet again during the two light-wind races yesterday and will go to the Medal Race with a 19 point lead, with a safe hand on the title. Bekkering/Duetz NED remain on rank 2 with a 7 point advantage on the tied Bobeck/Tengström SWE and Naess/ Roeningen NOR on the ranks 3 and 4. Paris Henken/Anna Tobias Tunnicliffe USA defended rank 10 and qualified for the Medal Race. Alexandra Tenhove/Mariah Millen CAN are on rank 15. The 49erFX ranking list and the 49erFX daily news.

Tara Pacheco/Florian Trittel ESP follow on rank 3.
