 IRC - Middlesea Race - La Valetta MLT - Day 5 - Monohull line honors for 'I love Poland', IRC handicap for 'Elusive 2' In the race for the Monohull line honors, the two Polish Volvo 70 'I love Poland' of Grzegorz Baranowski POL and 'E1' with Zbigniew Gutkowski POL dueled in the final 10nm to the finish line in La Valetta MLT, and it was Baranowski having the upper-hand with a 23-minute advantage. ----- In calculated time, the Bénéteau First 45 'Elusive 2' of Aaron & Christoph Podesta MLT was on top ahead of the Ker 46 'Tonnerre de Glen' of Dominique Tian FRA. ----- Up-to-now, 18 of the 42 monohulls finished the race. ----- The ranking list and the daily news.

 IRC - Middlesea Race - La Valetta MLT - Start today, without USA participants Today, the start of the 41st edition of the Middlesea-Race will be given in La Valetta. The traditional course around Sicily leads from Malta through the Strait of Messina, and rounding the islands Stromboli, Pantelleria, and Lampedusa back to La Valetta. Due to the Corona pandemic, the fleet is smaller this year, but nevertheless, there are 50 teams from 14 nations on the entry list. No North Americans this year.
