 49er, 49erFX - Championship - Cascais POR - Final results - Nevin Snow/Dane Wilson USA first The Cascais Championship came to an end yesterday with the Medal Races. ----- No changes in the 49ers: Nevin Snow/Dane Wilson USA won ahead of Robert Dickson/Dean Waddilove IRL. Finishing 2nd in the Medal Race, Ian Barrows/Hans Henken USA advanced on rank 3. ----- With a 4th place in the Medal Race of the strong 49ersFX fleet, Tina Lutz/Susann Beucke GER managed to push the previously leading Tamara Echegoyen/Paula Barcelo ESP out of first place by one point. Olympic Champions Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA finished only 3 points behind in 3rd position. ----- The rankings.

 49er, 49erFX - Championship - Cascais POR - Day 4 - Nevin Snow/Dane Wilson USA have taken the lead Classic Cascais conditions prevailed also yesterday, and 3 more races were sailed. ----- Tamara Echegoyen/Paula Barcelo ESP took the lead in the 49ersFX with two race wins. 11 points behind, Tina Lutz/Susann Beucke GER are still in 2nd, while Ida-Marie Baad/Marie Thusgard DEN dropped back to 3rd. ----- In the 49ers, Nevin Snow/Dane Wilson USA have taken the lead. Robert Dickson/Sean Waddilove IRL moved up to 2nd as best of the day (1/1/2). Marco Grael/Gabriel Borges BRA follow in 3rd. Finishing 8/4/4, Ian Barrows/Hans Henken USA dropped on 4th overall. ----- All rankings.

 49er, 49erFX - Championship - Cascais POR - Day 3 - USA 49ers first and second With the strongest seabreeze so far, freshening up to over 20n for the 49ersFX in the afternoon, the Cascais Championship continued yesterday with 3 races each. ----- New at the top of the 49ersFX are now Tamara Echegoyen/Paula Barcelo ESP, followed 11 points behind by Tina Lutz/Susann Beucke GER in second, with Ida-Marie Baad/Marie Thusgard DEN 3 points back in third. ----- The two USA teams Ian Barrows/Hans Henken USA and Kevin Snow/Dane Wilson USA are tied at the top of the 49er rankings.  49er, 49erFX - Championship - Cascais POR - Day 2 - Barrows/Henken remain on top Another bright day in classic Cascais conditions with a 17kn seabreeze, and three more races were sailed yesterday. ----- In the 49ersFX, the two mixed teams Lili Sebesi/Yann Jauvin FRA and Kevin Fischer/Albane Dubois FRA are in the lead. The first women's team Ida-Marie Baad/Marie Thusgard DEN is tied for third place. As best of the day, Tina Lutz/Susann Beucke GER moved up to rank 4. ----- Slight improverments for Georgia and Antonia Lewin-LaFrance CAN (RNSYS/CYC) now in 16th and Ali ten Hove/Mariah Millen CAN (KYC) in 20th among the 25 participants. ----- In the small fleet of 49ers, Ian Barrows/Hans Henken USA continue to lead.  49er, 49erFX - Championship - Cascais POR - Day 1 - USA lead in the disappointingly small 49er fleet The Olympic skiffs started their Cascais Championship yesterday in classic conditions with 15 knots of wind and good waves. ----- In the 49ersFX with most international top teams competing, Lili Sebesi/Yann Jauvin FRA lead the classification after 3 races. Tamara Echegoyen/Paula Barcelo ESP and Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA follow in second and third places. ----- Stephanie Roble/Margaret Shea USA (Lake Beulah YC/Chicago YC/St Francis YC) did not show up. Georgia and Antonia Lewin-LaFrance CAN (RNSYS/CYC) occupy rank 19 and Ali ten Hove/Mariah Millen CAN (KYC) follow in 23rd among the 25 participants. ----- Only 8 teams participate in the 49ers, and the North Americans Ian Barrows/Hans Henken USA have taken the lead, followed 4 points behind by Nevin Snow/Dane Wilson USA.  49er, 49erFX - Championship - Cascais POR - First races today, with six North American teams The 2021 Cascais 49er and 49erFX Championships will start in Portugal today. ----- Disappointing the participation in the 49ers, only 12 boats, where the North American delegation with Nevin Snow/Dane Wilson USA, Ian Barrows/Hans Henken USA (St. Francis YC/Eastern YC) and William Jones/Evan DePaul CAN (Royal Hamilton YC) will compete with mainly development teams. ----- In the 49ersFX however, with 27 teams on the starting line, almost all the cracks are taking part with the Olympic Champions Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA, Ida-Marie Baad/Marie Thusgard DEN, Tina Lutz/Susann Beucke GER, Charlotte Dobson/Sakia Tide GBR or Tamara Echegoyen/Paula Barcelo ESP. ----- North America is represented by Stephanie Roble/Margaret Shea USA (Lake Beulah YC/Chicago YC/St Francis YC), Georgia and Antonia Lewin-LaFrance CAN (RNSYS/CYC) and Ali ten Hove/Mariah Millen CAN (KYC). ----- All entry lists.
