Light winds prevailed on the first day of the Melges-20 European Championship in Croatia. Alexander Novoselov RUS and his team confirmed his role as favorite winning the first race. Orel Kalomeni MON (tactics Sébastien Col FRA) follows on rank 2, Igor Rytov RUS is 3rd.
