About 20 Minis have rounded the Cape Verdes island Santo Antao so far, the last waypoint before the Atlantic crossing. Trade winds around 15 to 20 kn propel the boats at speeds of over 10 kn.
Ian Lipinski POL pulls away in the Protos and his advantage on Simon Koster SUI had grown to 52 nm yesterday evening. Jörg Riechers GER on 3rd is already 76 nm behind.
The first Series Minis remain closer together. Tanguy Bouroullec FRA remains on top 14 nm in front of Erwan Le Draoulec FRA and 23 nm of Clarisse Crémer FRA.
