After 36 race hours, the 7 teams are sailing North along the Brazilian coast in light winds around 10kn. 'Dongfeng' with Charles Caudrelier FRA has taken the lead 2,2nm ahead of 'Mapfre'. 'Brunel' on rank 3 follows 4nm behind. The fleet will probably remain closely together until the dispurbances of the innertropical convergence zone, where several tactical options will challenge the navigators.
