Winning two of the three races, the Olympic Champion Giles Scott GBR has taken the lead in the overall rankings of the Finn European Championship. After the windless opening day, a 10-15kn breeze enjoyed the 84 participants in Athens GRE yesterday. Andy Maloney NZL followed on rank 2, the World Champion Beresz Zsombor HUN is on 3rd. Tom Ramshaw CAN is on the 12th place, Caleb Paine USA is on rank 23. However, as 10th non-qualified nation for the 2020 Olympics so far, he will have to fight hard for one of the four berths at stake for Tokyo based on the Finn selection rules. Ramshaw CAN secured the nation berth last year already. ---- The other North American Finn sailors are on the ranks 40 (Luke Muller USA), 41 (Kyle Martin) CAN, 67 (Eric Anderson USA) and 71 (Quinton Gallon CAN). ---- The results, the report and the video of the day.
