The final three windy races at the Laser Standard Worlds in Sandringham AUS this Sunday morning UTC made the difference in the US Trials in favor of Charlie Buckingham (Newport Beach YC) over his team mate Chris Barnard (Newport Beach YC), ranks 33/38/18, who finished on the 30th place. Robert Davis CAN remained on rank 40.--------------- With three top-10 results on the final day, extending his overall lead on 12 points, Philipp Buhl GER is the superior 2020 Laser World Champion, the first Laser Worlds title for Germany in a class, dominated so far by AUS and GBR sailors. Matthew Wearn AUS follows on 2nd, Tonci Stipanovic CRO on 3rd.
