Restart of Regatta Sailing in Switzerland - the 2020 season is finally underway !

Good Southwind conditions prevailed on Lake Zurich yesterday at the Zürcher SC Club Championship 2020, the first normal regatta in Switzerland after the Covid-19 lockdown period. ----- Winner in the centerboard classes was Franzi Glüer (D-One) in front of the Laser fleet with Maxime Thommen (Radial) on 2nd and Rolf Frey (Standard) on 3rd. Club Champion in the keelboats is the Youth Team on the J/70 'Jane' with Julien Delbeke (Alessandro Maisano/Noah Tschopper/Jonas Domeisen/Daniel Pinzello) ahead of Giovanni Müller/Markus Widmer on a Yngling and Evelyne Wiskerke/Martin Helmings on a J/70. ----- Respect for Covid-19 restrictions ashore, i.e. hygiene, social distancing, and contact tracing for crews on the water are in the responsibility of the regatta organizers. ----- The illustrated report.
