Corona Sail Racing is back in Switzerland Full Program on the coming Weekend
The Corona Pandemic is far from being over in Switzerland. However, with the general Corona regulations ashore (distancing, hygiene, contact tracing), but no limits at all on the water, sail racing in Switzerland is (almost) back to normal, and the calendar as planned is in full swing. Over the coming weekend - summery weather has been announced again - there will be high activity on the Swiss lakes. ----- Beginning tomorrow, the Swiss Championships of the Optimists on Lake Thoune (144 boats), the 420s and 470s on Lake Uri (45 boats), the three Laser Classes on Lake Silvaplana (141 boats) and the Fireballs on Lake Davos (23 boats) will be underway. With the Class Championship of the Nacra 20 catamarans in Morges/Lake Geneva and the third round of the Swiss Sailing Challenge League (2nd National League on J/70s) in Lausanne/Lake Geneva, two other important events are on the program, not to forget the many fully-crewed keelboat races on Club and regional level. ----- As always, sailing-news will keep you informed daily with the latest news - stay tuned!
