 Olympic Classes  Kieler Woche  Kiel GER  Final results  Strong Return to Racing for U.S. Athletes in Kiel
Stephanie Roble (East Troy, Wisc.) and Maggie Shea (Wilmette, Ill.) finished second overall in the 49erFX fleet, and Charlie Buckingham (Newport Beach, Calif.) climbed on rank 4 in the Laser Standard fleet. Tom Ramshaw CAN kept rank 6 in the Finns as third North American in the top-10 as well. ----- The Final Results of all North Americans and the US Sailing Team report. ---------------- Please find hereafter the top results of all six Olympic Classes. ----- Jonas Warrer/Jakop Precht DEN defended their small advantage in the 49ers and won the Kiel Week Trophy ahead of Diego Bortin/Iago Lopes ESP moving up on rank 2 with a race win yesterday. Rual/Amoros FRA advanced on rank 3. ----- In the 49ersFX, Tina Lutz/Susann Beucke GER remained on top of the rankings as well, followed by Stephanie Roble/Maggie Shea USA and Charlotte Dobson/Saskia Tidey GBR. ----- In the Finns, Nicholas Heiner NED was the clear winner ahead of Facundo Oleazza ARG who replaced Nils Theuninck SUI on rank 2. ----- Surprise in the Lasers Radial, where the Olympic and World Champion Marit Bouwmeester NED flopped (rank 20), giving way to Anne-Marie Rindom NED for an overall victory. On rank 3 followed Maria Erdi HUN. ----- Leader change in the Lasers Standard as well. The race winner of the day Philipp Buhl GER moved on top ahead of Eliott Hansen GBR and Michael Beckett GBR. ----- Ruggero Tita/Caterina Banti ITA finished first in the Nacra 17 ahead of John Gimson/Anna Burnett GBR and Paul Kohlhoff/Alicia Stuhlemmer GER. ----- The Olympic 470 m/f and RS:X m/f did not compete in Kiel this time. ----- Fresh winds of up to 20kn prevailed on the last day of the 2020 Kiel Week. ----- All ranking lists and the final report.
