 OCR, Melges IC37  Newport Race Week  Day 2  Changes on top of the Melges IC37
Three more races were held yesterday at the Newport Race Week without changes on top of the OCR1 fleet, where the TP52 'Vesper' of David Team, Newport Beach, CA, USA, is still in the lead just one point ahead of the Botin 52 'Fox' of Victor Wild, San Diego, CA, USA. 'Bella Mente', the Maxi 72 of Hap Fauth, Naples, FL, USA, remains on 3rd with a 10 point backlog. ----- In the ORC2, the Swan 42 'Impetuous' of Paul Zabetakis, Jamestown, RI, USA with three bullets yesterday replaced the J/109 'Leading Edge' of William Sutton, Houston, TX, USA on top of the rankings. The Farr 30 'Das Blau Max' of Cory Sertl, Jamestown, RI, USA on the 3rd place is now 17 points behind. ----- With three wins in four races in the Melges IC37, 'Waka Jawaka' of Michael Goldfarb/Laura Grondin, Seattle, WA, USA jumped on top. With three redresses given, Christopher Culver on 'Blazer II' remains on rank 2 only 2.8 points behind the leader. 'Qubit' of Chris Lewis, Seabrook, TX, USA, 9 points behind the first, is new on 3rd. The former leader 'Pacific Yankee' of Drew Freides /Bill Ruh, Los Angeles, CA, USA, is down on the 4th place 3 points behind the podium. ----- The results, the event Facebook page with reports and photos, the event website, and the video of day 2.
