 IMOCA Open 60  Vendee Globe  Day 22, Dalin FRA rounding the Cape today
After 22 days, Charlie Dalin FRA ('Apivia') will be the first to round the Cape of Good Hope today, maintaining his lead of 245nm by this morning UTC. The chasing group has closed up with Thomas Ruyant FRA ('LinkedOut') in 2nd place now only 30nm ahead of Kevin Escoffier FRA ('PRB'), and another 20nm behind Jean Le Cam FRA ('Yes we Cam', Non-Foiler) in 4th place. ----- 450nm back follows the Paralympic Champion Damien Séguin ('Groupe Apicil', Non-Foiler) up on rank 9. Behind him, the women's position fight is taking place: Samantha Davis GBR ('Initiatives Coeur') is 12th, only 62nm ahead of Isabelle Joschke FRA/GER ('MACSF'), and in 17th place Clarisse Cremer FRA ('Banque Populaire') already more than 350nm behind Samantha Davis. ----- The race tracker and the reports.
