 IMOCA Open 60  Vendee Globe  Day 49  up on speed again
After the leading duo, the chasing group has passed the center of the anticyclone during the last night UTC as well and is making good speed again. ----- Winner of the day was Thomas Ruyant FRA ('LinkedOut'), who opted for the most northerly deviation and after tacking, he is now moving East at high speed on the intact foil of his Open60. From 8th place, he advanced on 3rd tonight (322nm behind) and is still the fastest of the leading group. Yannick Bestaven FRA ('Maître Coq') remains on top 44nm ahead of Charlie Dalin FRA ('Apivia'). Jean Le Cam FRA ('Yes we Cam!', Non-Foiler) is now back in 4th place, 329nm behind. Ranks 3-10 are only 100nm apart. ----- The race tracker and the reports.
