Yannik Bestaven FRA ('Maitre Coq') and 147nm back Charlie Dalin FRA ('Apivia') were able to extend their lead yesterday in well-established fresh winds from the northwest, while the chasing group was slowed down. Thomas Ruyant FRA ('LinkedOut') is now already 401nm behind in 3rd place. Still best non-Foiler is Damien Séguin FRA ('Groupe Apicil') in 4th position with a 497nm backlog. Boris Herrmann GER ('SeaExplorer') follows now 595nm behind in the 5th position. ----- Tomorrow, Yannik Bestaven FRA will pass Cape Horn and turn onto the home stretch back to France on the Atlantic Ocean. ----- Pip Hare GBR rank 16 on her 'Medallia' - the 20-year-old former 'Superbigou' of Bernhard Stamm SUI, on which Alan Roura achieved 13th place at the Vendée 4 years ago - remains astonishing. ----- The race tracker and the reports.
