 Olympic Classes - Medemblik Regatta - Medemblik NED - Final results Sun and moderate winds prevailed yesterday during the Medemblik-Regatta Medal Races.
Zofia Noceti-Klepacka POL was the clear winner in the RS:X women windsurfers ahead of Lilian De Geus NED. In the RS:X men, the leading Marciej Kluszczynski POL sailed his worst result of the week (8th) and was replaced on top by Yoav Cohen ISR.
In the 49ers, Lucas Rual/Emile Amoros FRA were the clear winners ahead of Gilmour/Turner AUS and Lange/Lange ARG. Chris Rast USA/SUI/Trevor Burd USA advanced on rank 8 overall, thanks to an 8th race rank in the Medal Race. In the 49erFX, Charlotte Dobson/Saskia Tidey GBR replaced the leading Annemiek Bekkering/Anette Duetz NED by one point.
Eliot Hansen GBR was the premature winner in the Lasers ahead of Yuri Hummel NED und Eliot Merceron SUI. Daphne Van der Vaart NED finished first in the Radials Medal Race as well as overall ahead of Maxime Jonker NED and Veronika Vorobeva CRO.
In the Nacra 17, Fernando Echevarri/Tara Pacheco ESP defended the first place ahead of Jones/Saunders NZL and Gimson/Burnett GBR.

Olympic Classes - Medemblik Regatta - Medemblik NED - Day 3

 Olympic Classes - Medemblik Regatta - Medemblik NED - Day 3 Fresher winds filled in for the first time on the Ijssel Meer allowing the Nacra 17 catamarans to fly.
In RS:X women windsurfers, Stefania Elfutina RUS took the lead ahead of Zofia Noceti POL at equal points. Maciej Kluszczynski POL renmained on top of the RS:X men windsurfers. Winning two races, Kieran Holmes GBR advanved on the 2nd placed.
In the Lasers Standard, the leader Elliot Hanson GBR has now a 7 points advantage on Etienne Le Pen FRA, Niels Broekhuizen NED moved up on rank 3. Eliot Merceron SUI remains on rank 5. In the Lasers Radial, Daphne Van der Vaart NED has now a 4 points lead on Maxime Jonker NED.
No change in the 49ers: Lucas Rual/Emile Amoros FRA remain on top ahead of Yago Lange/Klaus Lange ARG. Chris Rast SUI/USA/Trevor Burd USA advanced on rank 9. In the 49erFX, Annemiek Bekkering/Anette Duetz NED are now only 2 points in front of Charlotte Dobson/Saskia Tidey GBR. Livia Naef/Nelia Puhze SUI follow on rank 19.
First in the Nacra 17 are Echevarri/Pacheco ESP ahead of Jones/Saunders NZL.

Olympic Classes - Medemblik Regatta - Medemblik NED - Day 1, with USA and CAN participation

 Olympic Classes - Medemblik Regatta - Medemblik NED - Day 1, with USA and CAN participation The Medemblik Regatta (previously Delta Lloyd Regatta) on the Ijssel Meer began yesterday in light, lateron freshening winds. All Olympic classes - except the Finns and 470s sailing important Class regattas in other venues - completed the full program.
Maja Dziarnowska POL and Zofia Noceti-Klepacka POL share the lead in the RS:X female windsurfers after 3 races. Shared lead also in the RS:X male windsurfers with Yoav Cohen ISR and Maciej Kluszcyinski POL.
In the Lasers Standard, Elliot Hansen GBR is first ahead of Yuri Hummel NED and Eliot Merceron SUI. Maxime Jonker NED won both heats in the Lasers Radial.
In the 49ers, Lucas Rual/Emile Amoros FRA are on top with 3 race wins. Yago and Klaus Lange ARG follow on 2nd. The 3-times USA and SUI Olympian Chris Rast USA/SUI underway in a new campaign with Trevor Burd USA as crew is on rank 8. In the 49erFX, Annemiek Bekkering/Annette Duetz NED lead one point ahead of Dewi Couvert/Jeske Kisters NED. Livia Naef/Nelia Puhze SUI are 15th with a premature start penalty on their results sheet.
