 Mini 650 - Mini-Transat - Leg 2 - Day 13 - line honors for Jambou FRA After 12 days and 2 hours, the line honors of the Mini Transat leg 2 from Grand Canaria ESP to Martinique/French Caribbeans went to François Jambou FRA on his Protos Mini. This morning UTC, Axel Tréhin FRA, winner of leg 1, finished on rank 2 with a 13 hour backlog. Jambou, only one hour behind Tréhin in leg one, is therefore the overall winner of the 2019 Mini Transat. Morten Bogacki GER on 3rd is expected to arrive by tomorrow only. His advance on rank 4 was 25nm this morning. ----- The next solo-skipper to finish in elapsded time will be the winner in the Series Minis, Ambrogio Beccaria ITA. This morning UTC, François Jambou FRA was on top of the Protos Minis 5,3nm ahead of Tanguy Bouroullec FRA on 2nd and Axel Tréhin FRA 17.7nm behind on 3rd. In the Series Minis, Ambrogio Beccaria ITA had already an advantage of 16.4nm on Benjamin Ferré FRA. Kéni Piperol FRA was 34nm behind the leader. ----- 48 hours after the start to leg two from the Canaries to the Caribbeans, two major options are taking shape on the Atlantic chessboard.  Mini 650 - Mini-Transat - Leg 1 - Day 4, leader change in the fast ride to the Canaries François Jambou FRA has taken the lead in the Protos ahead of Axel Tréhin FRA 6nm behind. In the Series Minis, the dominating leader Ambrogio Beccaria ITA dropped on rank 8 during the past night. Guillaume L'Hostis FRA followed by Julien Letissier FRA are new on top. Today at 09.30 UTC, the start of leg one direction Canaries will finally be given. Until Tuesday, winds above 40kn have been forecast. Comes in addition, that the hurricane 'Lorenzo' devastating the Acores currently, is expected for Saturday.
