 Laser Standard + Radial  Olympic Worldcup 18/19, Act 1  Enoshima JPN  Today Medal Race with Sarah Douglas CAN
The Laser Qualification Series for today's Medal Races were concluded yesterday with 3 race per class.
After another convincing performance, Elliot Hansen GBR is the premature winner in the Standards with a 43 (!) points lead. The fight for Silver and Bronze will be tight today: Thomas Saunders NZL on 2nd is 3 points ahead of Matthew Wearn AUS, and a another 2 points back, Philipp Buhl GER and Sam Meech NZL have a chance for the top 3.
In the Radials, Marit Bouwmeester NED is the premature winner as well. Her advantage on Josefin Olsson SWE is 19 points. Emma Plaesschart BEL on 3erd follows 3 points behind, and also Hannah Snellgrove GBR has chances for a Medal.

Except Sarah Douglas CAN, the North American results are rather disappointing:
• Laser (5): Chris Barnard USA 29th, Charlie Buckingham USA 30th, Robert Davis CAN 37th, Malcolm Lamphere USA 48th, Marek Zaleski USA 49th
• Laser Radial (4): Sarah Douglas CAN 6th, Haddon Hughes USA 13th, Paige Railey USA 14th, Erika Reineke USA 18th
