GC32-Catamaran - Racing Tour 2018 - Final Act - Toulon FRA - Final results

Yesterday, the Eastwind exceeding 20kn and big waves in Toulon FRA were again too much for the GC32 foiling catamarans and the competition ended without further races.
Ben Ainslie GBR and his 'INEOS Team UK' finished first ahead of Franck Cammes FRA on 'Norauto'. The French are the final Racing Tour winners. The long-time Tour leaders 'Realteam' (Jerôme Clerc SUI) finished 7th only loosing 5 of the 10 races sailed after their dismasting in race 1, and dropped in the Tour rankings on 4th. Jason Carroll USA on 'Argo' finished 5th, was the fastest in the Toulon Speed Challenge (28,97kn) and is the best owner-driver of the year !
