Yesterday, the four classes of the Bacardi Invitational Series started racing on Biscayne Bay completing three races each in a fresh 20kn breeze.
In the J/70 (33 teams from 8 nations), Carlo Alberini ITA and his team took the lead 3 points ahead of Ryan McKilan USA. On rank 3 follows Giangiacomo Serena di Lampigio ITA.
In the Melges 24 (25 teams from 8 nations), Brian Porter USA (mit Jonathan McKee USA) dominated with three race wins. Andrea Pozzi ITA and Kevin Welch USA follow on the ranks 2 and 3.
In the Vipers 640 is the leader Geoff Fargo USA with Mary Evanson USA and Brad Boston CAN on 2 and 3.
The Flying Tigers, Brian Dunwoodie USA and his team is on rank 1.
