The traditional Lüderitz (Namibia) Speed Challenge has been underway for a month now with excellent wind conditions on the speed channel during the past days. ----- With 53,33kn, Vincent Valkenaers BEL succeeded to improve the Windsurf World Record of Antoine Albeau FRA by 0,06kn, the day before yesterday. ----- First-ranked interim in the women is Heidi Ulrich SUI with 46,1kn. ----- For the coming weekend, even fresher winds of up to 60kn have been announced and it remains to be seen, whether the Kite record of Rob Douglas USA (55,65kn) will fall. ----- The rankings and the event facebook page with videos.
