18 Footer New South Wales Championship Sydney AUS Race 3, third victory for 'Winning Group'
Superior victory of 'Winning Group' with John Winning jr/Seve Jarvin/Sam Newton AUS in the third race of the 18 Footer NSW Championship on Sydney Harbour last Sunday, sailed in freshening winds. 'Yandoo' with John Winning AUS, the father of the winner, followed 2 min behind. With this third victory, 'Winning Group' becomes more and more the favorite for the JJ Giltinan Trophy in March with the New Zealand teams, especially the defending Champion, challenging the Australians. ----- Next Friday, the Super Cup Challenge, a special event for the 18-Footer-Class Veterans., will be held, to be followed livestream on www.sailing-news.com . ----- The news and the video replay (2h 03min) of the last Sunday race.
