The Japanese 470 finished the only regatta of the opening day on the ranks one with Ai Kondo/Miho Yoshioka JPN leading in the Women (10 teams from 8 nations) ahead of Skrzypulec/Ogar POL and Lecointre/Reetornaz FRA, as well as Keiju Okada/Jumpei Hokazono JPN in the Men (25 teams from 5 nations and 3 continents) in front of Ferrari/Calabro ITA and Costa/Costa POR. ----- Piotr Myszka POL is on top of the RS:X Men windsurfers ahead of Kieran Holmes GBR and Yoav Omer ISR. Pedro Pascual Suitt USA is 24th. ----- On rank 1 in the Women and Juniors is Finn Hawkins GBR ahead of Lucie Belbeoch FRA and Noy Drihan ISR. Farrah Hall USA is 15th, Mariana Aguilar Chavez Peon MEX 21st.----- In the Lasers Standard, Lorenzo Chiavarini GBR finished first ahead of Nooa Laukkanen FIN. The favorites were in difficulties with Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA 22nd and und Robert Scheidt BRA 23rd. Pau Ramis Balaguer MEX is 37th among the 39 participants.. ----- In the Lasers Radial, Stéphanie Devaux-Lovell LCA (St-Lucia) finished on top followed by Coralie Vittecoq CAN and Sarah Douglas CAN. ----- Only four Dutch sailors competed in the Lasers 4.7 with William Zielinski NED winning. ----- Light winds prevailed during the first race sailed at the Olympic Classes Portugal Grand Prix in Vilamoura POR yesterday. ----- All results and the event facebook page with photos.
