 Finn  Goldcup 2019  Melbourne AUS  Final results, Josh Junior NZL World Champion, Tom Ramshaw CAN 8th, Luke Muller USA 17th
In a fresh 20kn plus wind, the Finn World Championship, i.e. the Gold Cup, was concluded in Melbourne this morning UTC with the Medal Race and the sail-off race for the rest of the fleet. ----- Josh Junior NZL controlled the situation finishing 7th and grasping his first title. Silver went to Nicholas Heiner NED closely followed by the defending champion Zsombor Beresz HUN. Winner of the Medal Race was Jack Lilley AUS finishing 5th overall and earning the Oceania Continental Olympic berth for Australia. Tom Ramshaw CAN terminated the Championship on the excellent 8th place. ----- On rank 9 followed Juan Cardona ESP as winner of the U23 title, Luke Muller USA on rank 17 earned Bronze in the U23 classifications. The 2016 Olympic Bronze medalist Caleb Paine USA remained on the 25th place. ----- The ranking list and the event facebook page with the final report, the photos and videos.
