The first stage of the Oakcliff Triple Crown Series has concluded with US Sailing Team athletes Stu McNay (Providence, R.I.) and Dave Hughes (Miami, Fla.), and Carmen and Emma Cowles (Larchmont, N.Y.) comfortably taking first and second place in the 12-boat Open 470 fleet, respectively. ----- In the 49ers (4 teams), Christopher and Duncan Williford are on top, in the 49ersFX (5 teams), Nate Housberg/Lucy Wilmot are leading. ----- Very light max 5kn winds on Saturday, and up to 7kn yesterday. shifty and puffy, prevailed on Oyster Bay over the past weekend. ----- The results and the final report on the US Sailing Team website. ----- Stage two of the Triple Crown (this year reduced to a Double Crown) will be held on the weekend of October 2 to 4.
