18 Footer - Australian Championship 2020 - Sydney AUS - Races 4 & 5

In rainy weather with initial 18kn, later slightly decreasing winds, races no. 4 and 5 of the Australian Championship were sailed yesterday. Both races ended with close decisions. ----- 'SMEG' with Michael Coxon AUS won twice. The 2nd race was decided on the line, with the top 5 finishing within 10 seconds! In the overall standings, 'tech2' (Jack Macartney AUS)' managed to stay ahead by a close margin. 3 races are left in the Australian Championship, the final preparation for March's JJ Giltinan Trophy, where the New Zealanders, winners in the past two editions, will join the fleet. ----- The report and the video replay of the day.
