Bénéteau Figaro - La Solitaire - Deauville FRA Next Saturday in Deauville, the start will be given to the 'Solitaire' of the French One-Design Bénéteau Figaro Solo Class, the highlight of the annual regatta program around the Bay of Biscay in four legs. 39 participants, among them four women, are on the entry list. For the 'Team SCA' Volvo Ocean racer Justine Mettraux SUI, it is the first start in this race, but considering the remarkable results in her first solo races this year, a good result in this new challenge might be expected as well.
Last Saturday, a prologue not counting for the overall rankings has been sailed in a light wind around 10 kn. Alan Roberts GBR was the winner with Justine Mettraux SUI among the backmarkers. The report and the rankings of the prologue.
