 'Team Tilt' of Sébastien Schneiter SUI was again the best of the day yesterday at the inaugural foiling catamaran GC32 World Championship on Lake Garda and earned the title 8 points ahead of 'SAP Extreme Sailing Team' with Adam Minoprio NZL. 'Oman Air' with Phil Robertson NZL defended rank 3. 'Alinghi' (Ernesto Bertarelli SUI) on rank 4 missed a medal by 8 points.

 GC32-Catamaran - World Championship 2018 - Riva ITA - Day 3 The top "Ora" conditions at th GC32 Worlds on Lake Garda stayed on yesterday and another 5 races were sailed in a 15kn breeze. 'Team Tilt' with Sébastien Schneiter finished again all heats in the top-4 and defended rank 1, but 'SAP Extreme Sailing Team' with Adam Minoprio NZL, best of the day, reduced the gap on the leaders on 2 points and the Worlds title will go to either one in the last races today. 'Oman Air' (Phil Robertson NZL) on the 3rd place is alreadys 17 points behind. The fight for Bronze will be very close as only one point behind 'Oman Air' are 'Alinghi' (Ernesto Bertarelli SUI), 'Norauto' with Franck Cammas FRA (backlog 4 points) and 'INEOS Rebels UK' with Leigh McMillan GBR (backlog 7 points).

 GC32-Catamaran - World Championship 2018 - Riva ITA - Day 2 - Team Tilt SUI takes the lead Top "Ora" conditions prevailed yesterday with a 15-18kn wind and the full 5-race-program was completed. Finishing all heats in the top-3, Swiss 'Team Tilt' (SN Geneva) of Sébastien Schneiter SUI and Glenn Ashby AUS has taken the overall lead after a mediocre opening day. On rank 2 at equal points with the Swiss is 'Oman Sail' with Phil Robertson AUS. Only one point back is 'Alinghi' with Ernesto Bertarelli SUI also well placed in the race for the World Champion's title.

 GC32-Catamaran - World Championship 2018 - Riva ITA - Day 1, Carroll USA 7th In the typical Lake Garda thermical winds the GC32 World Championship started yesterday afternoon with two races. Double victory for Switzerland with 'Alinghi' (Ernesto Bertarelli SUI) and 'Realteam' (Jerôme Clerc SUI in the first race. The 2nd race saw the young British Team 'Ineos Rebels UK' mit Leigh McMillan GBR on top while the Swiss struggeled after premature starts. In the overall rankings Leigh McMillan GBR is leding followed by 'Red Bull Sailing Team' with two time Olympic Goldmedallist Roman Hagara AUT. 'SAP Extreme Sailing'(Adam Minoprio NZL) and 'Alinghi' are holding 3rd and 4th spot. Jason Carroll USA, the only Northamerican in the fleet, sits in the middle of the rankings on 7.  GC32 - World Championship 2018 - Riva ITA - Start today with Jason Carolls USA Today on lake Garda, the first ever World Championship of the foiling GC32 catamarans will be initiated. 13 teams are on the starting line, among them Americas-Cup-Winners Ernesto Bertarelli SUI ('Alinghi') or Glen Ashby AUS ('Team Tilt'), Volvo Ocean Race winner Franck Cammas FRA ('Norauto') and Olympic Medallists like Roman Hagara AUT ('Red Bull'). The US is represented by Jason Carroll's 'Argo'.
