 A-Cat, Moth, WASP, various foilers - Foiling Week - Malcesine IRA - Final Day On the final day of the Foiling week held on Lake Garda another three races were sailed in all classe. Winner in the A-Cat is Bruno Zarzan ITA. Dylan Fletcher GBR defended his lead in the Moth, Paul Goodison GBR and Francesco Bruni ITA completes the podium. 72 boats were on the starting line. In the 2 person prototypes victory went to Bruno Barbarin/Bryan Mettraux FRA/SUI on a Flying Phantom. Vendée-Globe veteran Jean-Pierre Dick FRA was best of the Easy-to-fly-catamarans. No change on the podium in the WASP: Thomas Troptman AUS on 1st, Bruce Carson NZL on 2nd, 64 boats were competing. All rankings and the event Facebook site.

 Moth, Wasp, A-Cat, var. Foilers - Foiling Week - Malcesine ITA - Day 2 Hot summer weather including the best ‘Ora’ winds enabled the completion of the full schedule on Lake Garda yesterday. The WASP were able to sail 4 races. The new leader is Thomas Trotman AUS, Bruce Curson NZL follows 6 points behind in 2nd place. The best Swiss is Nicolas Duchoud SUI on rank 29, Pit Müller SUI follows in 38th out of the 62 participants. Sandro Caviezel SUI, the only non-Italian sailor is leading the fleet of the A-Cats, 3 Points ahead of Paolo Penco ITA. The new Moth leader is Dylan Fletcher GBR, after world champion Paul Goodison GBR had to skip three of the four races and fell back to 13th overall. Francesco Bruni ITA is still 2nd, followed by David Hivey GBR in 3rd. David Holenweg SUI had a very good day and moved up to 5 th overall. The 2-man prototype ranking shows now no less than 7 Flying Phantoms at the top. Maxime Bachelin SUI is still in the lead, one point ahead of Bruno Barbarin FRA on rank 2.
