J/24 - World Championship 2018 - Riva ITA - Final results, USA teams (4 in first 5 places) dominate with Wells USA as World Champion

 J/24 - World Championship 2018 - Riva ITA - Final results, USA teams (4 in first 5 places) dominate with Wells USA as World Champion With three races sailed yesterday morning on Lake Garda in in an up to 20kn Northwind, the J/24 World Championship 2018 was concluded, and it was a festival of the USA boats occupying 4 of the 5 first positions: Will Welles USA and his team were the dominators grasping the title with a 21 points' advantage on Nobuyuki Imai JPN. Bronze went to Keith Whittemore USA. The best European Daniel Frost GER finished on rank 6.
89 teams from 14 nations participated.

 J/24 - World Championship 2018 - Riva ITA - Day 5, Welles USA in pole position for today's last races For once, the wind was missing on Lake Garda: the morning race in Northwind had to be abandoned, and the fleet waited in vain for the Ora in the afternoon. The final decisions will therefore be in the last races of the Championship today. Will Welles USA and his team have to defend their 7 points' lead on Nobuyuki Imai JPN. Daniel Frost GER on the 3rd place is already 14 points back.

 J/24 - World Championship 2018 - Riva ITA - Day 2, Welles USA remains on top The J/24 Worlds on Lake Garda continued yesterday with two races. Apparently, different weather conditions prevailed but nevertheless, Will Welles USA and his team remained on top inspite of the medium ranks 9 and 16. Balazs Tomai HUN stayed on rank 2 but new on the 3rd place is now Nobuyuki Imai JPN. As best of the day with the ranks 1 and 2, Daniel Frost GER advanced on the 5th place.

 J/24 - World Championship 2018 - Riva ITA - Day 1, ranks 1 and 3 for USA teams The J/24 World Championship 2018 began yesterday on Lake Garda with 3 races sailed in a well-establisthed Ora breeze. Will Welles USA and his team took the lead with a solid 2/5/2 row of race finishes. Balazs Tomai HUN and Travis Odenbach USA follow on the ranks 2 and 3. 89 teams from 14 nations and 4 continents participate.
