29er, RS Feva - Dutch Youth Regatta - Workum NED - Final results - Stephen Baker/Ripley Shelley USA excellent 5th

 29er, RS Feva - Dutch Youth Regatta - Workum NED - Final results - Stephen Baker/Ripley Shelley USA excellent 5th Mathias Berthet/Alexander Franks NOR were the superior winners in the 29ers, after 17 races, followed by Archie Cropley/Max Paul AUS. Aristide Giroud/Noah Chauvin FRA advanced on rank 3. Stephen Baker/Ripley Shelley USA, best of the day (ranks 3/5/2/1) finished on the excellent 5th place. Thomas and William Staples CAN terminated on the 25th position. ----- In the RS Feva, Imme Rijk/Bente Zuideman NED just defended their first place ahead of Laura Van dem Acker/Femke Van den Berg NED. Ster van Scherpenseel/Feline Freburg USA finished on the 6th final rank. ----- Sun and moderate winds prevailed again on the last day of the Dutch Youth Regatta. ----- All ranking lists and the final report.

 Optimist, Laser, 29er, Nacra 15, var. classes - Dutch Youth Regatta - Workum NED - Day 3 - Top-10 USA ranks in 29ers and RS-Feva The 29ers have completed 13 races and Mathias Berthet/Alexander Franks NOR are the new leaders 3 points ahead of Archie Cropley/Max Paul AUS. Stephen Baker/Ripley Shelley USA are on the 6th place inspite of a 23rd place in the final race of the day. ----- Thomas and William Staples CAN held the 24th position. ---- In the RS Feva, Imme Rijk/Bente Zuideman NED remained on top, but Laura von den Acker/Lemke van den Berg NED reduced the backlog on 4 points with four bullets yesterday. Ster van Scherpenseel/Feline Freburg USA had a good day and are new on rank 6. ----- In the Optimists, Daniel Links AUS has replaced Boris Hirsch SUI on top. Martin Atilla LAT follows on rank 3. The best Girl Yanne Broers NED is on rank 7. ----- In the Lasers 4.7, Teis Wijbinga NED keeps the first place ahead of Peer Noordanus NED. Anja Von Allmen SUI remains the best Girl on rank 4. ----- In the Lasers Radial, Teun In der Maur NED has taken the lead in front of Paul Hameeteman NED on 2nd. ----- In the Nacra 15, Jesse Lindstädt/Lise Rausch GER are now 2 points ahead of Silas Mühle/Levke Möller GER. Classes - Dutch Youth Regatta - Workum NED - Day 2 - Baker/Shelley USA now in 29er top-10 Martin Atilla LAT has taken the lead in the Optimists ahead of Boris Hirsch SUI new on rank 2 as best of the day. Magnus Heegard DEN is now on 3rd. Paulina Rutowska POL on the 9th place is the best Girl among the 430 participants----- The 29ers have completed 9 races and Archie Cropley/Max Paul AUS are the new leaders, one point ahead of Mathias Berthet/Alexander Franks NOR. Stephen Baker/Ripley Shelley USA are 13 ranks up now on the 9th place. Thomas and William Staples CAN remain on 22nd. ----- In the RS Feva, Imme Rijk/Bente Zuideman NED are dominating leaders. Ster van Scherpenseel/Feline Freburg USA advanced on rank 9 after 7 races. ----- In the Lasers 4.7, Teis Wijbinga NED is now on rank 1 with a 3 point lead on Peer Noordanus NED. The best Girl is Josefine Heergard DEN on 5th.----- In the Lasers Radial, Willem Wiersema NED has now an 8 point lead on Teun In der Mauer NED.  Optimist, Laser, 29er, Nacra 15, var. classes - Dutch Youth Regatta - Workum NED - Day 1 - rough sailing conditions - North Americans in 29er and RS Feva In the Optimist fleet, split in four groups, Vitus Sandberg DEN, Magnus Heegard DEN and Martin Atilla LAT won all 3 races of their groups and jointly lead overall. ----- In the Lasers 4.7, Ties Wijbinga NED is first ahead of Colin Faas NED and Anja Von Allmen SUI. In the Radials, Willem Wiersema NED is on rank 1 in front of Paul Hameeteman NED ----- In the 29ers, Aristide Girou/Noah Chauvin FRA are on top ahead of Archie Cropley/Max Paul AUS. Stephen Baker/Ripley Shelley USA are 22nd, Thomas and William Staples CAN 25th. ----- In the RS Feva, Imme Rijk/Bente Zuideman NED are first. Ster van Scherpenseel/Feline Freburg USA follow on rank 13th. ----- Especially challenging are the conditions for the Nacra-15-catamarans.  Optimist - Dutch Youth Regatta - Workum NED - Start today with North American participants Today begins the Dutch Youth Regatta on the Ijsselmeer sailed in eight different Classes. With 428 participants from 26 nations and 5 continents, the Optimists have the largest fleet. The Nacra 15-catamaran fleet, including two Australian teams, is quite competitive as well. The entry lists with North Americans in the 29er and RS Feva. ----- The kickoff today will be quite challenging with a wind from 15 to 20kn. For the coming days, a moderate breeze has been forecast. ----- The official preview.
