 Olympic & International Classes - Sail Melbourne - Melbourne AUS - Final results, Ramshaw CAN 4th Finn, Holt/Woelfel USA 505 Australian Champions 2020 Sail Melbourne was concluded this morning UTC. ----- In the Finns, the Australian Olympic Team member Jake Lilley AUS was the superior winner ahead of Nils Theuninck SUI, advancing on rank 2 as best of the day (ranks 1/3). Tom Ramshaw CAN remained on 4th. ----- In the Lasers Radial, the U19 junior Stefan Elliott AUS finished first ahead of the tied Olympic Champion Marit Bouwmeester NED on 2nd and Michael Crompton AUS (U19) on 3rd. Sarah Douglas CAN is on rank 27, Paige Railey USA abandoned the competition three days ago and is ranked 70th among the 85 participants. ----- No change on the podium of the Lasers Standard. Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA remained on rank 1 ahead of Matthew Wearn AUS and Luke Elliott AUS. Chris Barnard USA on rank 16 overtook Charlie Buckingham USA, finishing 20th, on the final day. ----- Winners in the Olympic windsurfers are Tom Squires GBR in the Men and Noy Drihan ISR in the Women. ----- Mike Holt/Rob Woelfel USA grasped the Australian Champions title in the 5o5s. ----- All results and the news.

 Olympic & International Classes - Sail Melbourne - Melbourne AUS - Day 4, rainy weather and fresh winds, reduced program The Monday races at Sail Melbourne have already been terminated this morning UTC. ----- In the Finns, Anders Pedersen NOR won both races of the day and moved up on rank 3 just one point behind Nils Theuninck SUI. Jake Lilley AUS remains on top. Tom Ramshaw CAN is now 4th. ----- The Lasers Standard completed only one race with Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA still on rank 1, but Matthew Wearn AUS reduced his backlog on 3 points. New on rank 3 follows Elliot Hansen GBR. After a blackflag disqualification, Charlie Buckingham USA dropped on rank 17. Chris Barnard USA follows on the 22nd place. ----- With two race wins, the U17 junior Stephan Elliott AUS moved on top of the Laser Radial Goldfleet, at equal points with Marit Bouwmeester NED. Michael Compton AUS and Annalise Murphy IRL follow 6 points back on the ranks 3 and 4. Sarah Douglas CAN is on the 23rd place.  Olympic & International Classes - Sail Melbourne - Melbourne AUS - Day 3, only a reduce program sailed The Sunday races in Melbourne have just been completed this morning UTC. ----- In the Lasers, only one race was sailed with Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA defending the lead in the Lasers Standard ahead of Matthew Wearn AUS new on rank 2. Charlie Buckingham USA dropped on rank 11 after a blackflag disqualification. Chris Barnard USA is up on rank 20. ----- In the Lasers Radial, the U19 helmsman Michael Compton AUS stays on top one point ahead of Marit Bouwmeester NED. Sarah Douglas CAN is 24th. Paige Railey USA did not compete and descending on rank 47, she will continue the competition in the Silverfleet. ----- Jake Lilley AUS extended his lead in the Finns with two bullets. Nils Theuninck SUI, twice on 2nd, remains the first persuer. Tom Ramshaw CAN is up on the 3rd place closely behind. ----- In the Australian 5o5 Nationals, the top duo remains unchange with Mike Holt/Rob Woelfel USA and Robin Deussen/David Snoad AUS winning one of the two races each. ----- Only two 470s participate with Tyler Page/Adrian Hoesch ASA (Samoa) as leaders on the way to grasp the additional Tokyo Olympic berth for Oceania, as Australia and New Zealand are qualified already. ----- All ranking lists.

 Olympic & International Classes - Sail Melbourne - Melbourne AUS - Day 2, top-10 interim rankings for Ramshaw CAN (4th Finn) and Buckingham USA  (8th Laser) After the windy opening day with a reduced program at Sail Melbourne, racing has already been completed this Saturday morning UTC. ----- In the Finns, Jack Lilley AUS kept a clear lead. After a race win, Nils Theuninck SUI moved up on rank 2 at equal points with Anders Pedersen NOR and Tom Ramshaw CAN. ----- The Kite-Foilers completed 6 races with Scott Whithead AUS solidly on top. His sister Breiana Whitehead AUS on rank 5 is the best-ranked woman among the 20 starters. ----- The RS:X windsurfers completed 6 races as well. In the men, Tom Squires GBR is on top ahead of Makoto Tomizawa JPN, in the women, Noy Drihan ISR is in front of the Olympic Champion Charline Picon FRA until now. ----- In the Lasers Radial Open - including the Men Juniors - the U19 youth Michael Compton AUS replaced Marit Bouwmeester NED on top.  Olympic & International Classes - Sail Melbourne - Melbourne AUS - Day 1, Holt/Woelfel USA 1st 5o5, Ramshaw CAN 2nd Finn, Buckingham USA 7th Finn Sail Melbourne 2020 was kicked-off this morning UTC with a race per class. ----- Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA won in the Lasers Standard ahead of Tom Burton AUS and Duko Bos CRO. Charlie Buckingham USA finished 7th, Chris Barnard USA did not compete. 60 participants. ----- In the Lasers Radial Open, Marit Bouwmeester NED and Michael Compton AUS won the races of their groups.
