 Optimist - Opti-Orange - Valencia ESP - Final results, Anne Samis USA 193rd among 328 participants The Opti-Orange Regatta in Valencia ESP was concluded yesterday with three races sailed in Gold-, Silver-, Bronze- and Emerald-Fleets. ----- With two top-10 finishes, Philip Björkman SWE consolidated his overall first place ahead of Marie Mazuay SUI, rank 2 overall and winner of the girls trophy. Leo Birgerson SWE follows on rank 3. ----- Anne Samis USA (Top Sailing/CYC) advanced on rank 193. ----- 328 participants from 26 nations. ----- The results and the event website with reports and videos.

 Optimist - Opti-Orange - Valencia ESP - Day 2 Santiago Sesto GBR is the new overall leader having won all races of his group yesterday. Only one point behind follows Tom Goron FRA. Philipp Björkmann SWE advanced on rank 3. Marie Mazuay SUI on rank 8 is leading in the girls rankings. Anne Samis USA (Top Sailing/CYC) missed two races and dropped on rank 218. ----- After the fresh winds of the opening day, a moderate 8-15kn breeze prevailed allowind to complete three races in all four fleets. ----- The results and the daily news.

 Optimist - Opti-Orange - Valencia ESP - Day 1, one race in 25kn breeze, Anne Samis USA 36th Group winners in the first race of the Opti-Orange Regatta in Valencia were yesterday Marie Mazuay SUI, Boris De Wilde BEL, Kirill Shunenkov RUS and Viktoria Jedlinska SUI, the latter however penalized with 6 points and relegated on 19th, as she forgot to sign-off on the safety list. The best North American Anne Samis USA (Top Sailing / CYC) is 36th (day rank 10 in her Group). ----- Fresh winds of up to 25kn prevailed on the opening day in Valencia allowing the four Groups to complete just one race. ----- The combined results and the daily news.
