 Olympic Classes - Canarian Olympic Sailing Week - Las Palmas ESP - Day 3 - Carolie Vittecoq CAN 18th Yesterday in Las Palmas, two more races were sailed in good conditions. ----- Before today's final races, Vasileia Karachaliou GRE has taken the lead in the Lasers Radial. Maria Erdi HUN is now 5 points behind in 2nd place. Another 5 points back remains Svenja Weger GER in 3rd. Coralie Vittecoq CAN is now on rank 18. ----- In the Lasers Standard, Nils Broekhuisen NED is still leading ahead of Joaquin Blanco ESP. -----In the Finns, Joan Cardona ESP has replaced the tied Zsombor Beresz HUN in the 1st place. ----- All rankings and the event Facebook page.

 Olympic Classes - Canarian Olympic Sailing Week - Las Palmas ESP - Fresh winds and big waves again on day 2 Fresh winds and big waves prevailed again on the second day of the Olympic Week of Las Palmas during the 3 races held per fleet. ----- Maria Erdi HUN suffered an early start disqualification in the Lasers Radial, but with another race win, she maintained her position at the top. Vasileia Karachaliou GRE was the best of the day (1/2/2), reducing the gap on the leader to 2 points. Svenja Weger GER advanced to 3rd place. Coralie Vittecoq CAN is 14th among the 37 participants. ----- In the Lasers Standard, Niels Broekhuisen NED extended his lead with two race wins. ----- In the Finns, Zsombor Berecz HUN is now 1 point ahead of Joan Cardona ESP. ----- All other rankings, i.e. the Techno-Windsurfers, 420s, 29s, Lasers 4.7, Snipe, and the 2.4m. Caroline Vittecoq CAN follows on rank 14 among the 37 participants. ----- In the Lasers Standard, Niels Broekhuisen NED is leading, ahead of Joaquin Blanco ESP, followed by Enrique Arathoon ESA in 3rd place. ----- Joan Cardona ESP and Zsombor Berecz HUN share the lead in the Finns with ranks 1 and 2 respectively. ----- In the Youth Classes, the fleets are all-Spanish.  Olympic Classes - Canarian Olympic Week - Gran Canaria ESP - Start today, with North Americans The Olympic Week starts today in Gran Canaria, including youth classes. As always, participation is very international. ----- In the Lasers Radial (44 boats/14 nations), Coralie Vittecoq CAN, Marie Barrué FRA or Maria Erdi HUN are on the entry list. At the start are also 22 Lasers Standand from 8 nations. The only non-Spanish in the Lasers 4.7 fleet is James Peter Kopack USA (Toms River YC). Small but very well attended is the fleet of the Finns with among others Berecz Zsombor HUN, Nenad Bugarin CRO, or Joan Cardona ESP. A total of 10 classes are at the start. ----- The entry lists and the event website.
