 International Classes - Kieler Woche - Kiel GER - Final results - Stefan Seger SUI Yesterday, the Kiel Week came to an end in 12-15 knots of wind and sun. ----- After after disqualification of the J/70 leader Malte Winkel GER failing to present a correct licence, Stefan Seger SUI and his team (Simon Thönen/Dominik Liener/Karin Nordström/Matthias Fahrni SUI) were proclaimed German J/70[/URL Champions with the day ranks 6 and 8. Michael Grau GER and Erik Linden SWE follow in 2nd and 3rd place respectively. ----- Leader change also in the [URL=wxw.manage2sail.com/de-DE/event/kiwo2023#!/results?classId=9a1db973-f77a-44fd-8609-7b6f347690bd]29ers as the leaders Clementine and Nathan Van Steenberge IRL dropped to 5th place due to a damage.  Olympic & International Classes - Kieler Woche - Kiel GER - Day 6 Unsteady, moderate winds made for challenging conditions in Kiel yesterday. ----- The 29er Eurocup continued with the first three final races. Clementine and Nathan Steenberge IRL extended their lead to 11 points, with Charlie Gran/Sam Webb GBR now in second place. The Swiss sail mostly in the Silverfleet, and the best Lorin Kuhn/Andrin Keller SUI are 57th of the 148 teams. ----- The German J/70 championship is turbulent: Malte Winkel GER and his team continue to dominate, but had to accept an early start disqualification yesterday. However, the '470-Spontan' entrants (and a number of other teams) might be in trouble for violating the professional eligibility rules. Stefan Seger SUI and his team are lurking in second place, 22 points behind! ----- The ILCA 6 remain exciting on today's final day: Paul Ulrich GER leads by 3 points over Hidde Schraffordt NED. ----- All other rankings and the daily report.

 International Classes - Kieler Woche - Kiel GER - Day 7 Yesterday the Kieler Woche international classes continued first in light than increasing winds. In the 29er Clementine and Natha Van Steenberge IRL extended their lead to 9 points, August Sobczak/Krzysztof Krolik POL moved up to second. Best Swiss now Ikke Huber/Liam Berger SUI on rank 45. At the German Championship of the J/70 Malte Winkel GER and his team won all three races yesterday and are now leading with 12 points ahead of Stefan Seger SUI. There are 50 teams from 7 nations at the start. There were no changes at the top in ILCA 6: Paul Ulrich GER continues to lead ahead of Hidde Schrafforth NED, in the ILCA 4 Levian Büschel GER leads with 4 points ahead of former Opti World Champion Weka Bhanubandh THA.  International Classes - Kieler Woche - Kiel GER - Day 6 After the Olympic part of Kiel Week, the international classes started their races yesterday. In perfect conditions with sunshine and moderate easterly winds, 3 races each could be sailed. In the Eurocup of the 29er Ewa Lewandowska/Leon Sapijaszko POL and Clementine and Nathan Van Steenberge BEL took the lead with two race wins in their group each. The Swiss teams follow in midfield, the best being Theodor Kowalewsky/Noah Strempfer SUI in 62nd place oft the 149 teams. At the German championship of the J/70, Malte Winkel GER and his team have taken the lead with one point ahead of Michael Grau GER. Another point behind, Carsten Kemmling GER and Stefan Seger SUI share 3rd place. The 150-strong fleet of the ILCA 6 is led by Paul Ulrich GER, in the ILCA 4 Levian Büscher GER already leads clearly with two race wins.  Olympic & International Classes - Kieler Woche - Kiel GER - Day 5 After a Kiel week of light winds, yesterday's Medal Race saw fresh winds for the first time with up to 18kn. Alexandre Boite FRA held his lead in the ILCA 7, Alessio Spadoni ITA moved up to second thanks to victory in the Medal Race. In the ILCA 6 Nazli Donertas TUR won ahead of Lilly-May Nietzabitowska POL. Lukasz Prszybytek/Jacek Piasecki POL decided the Polish duel against Dominik Buksak/Szymon Wierzbicki POL in their favour in the 49er, Benjamin Bildstein/David Hussl AUT moved up to third place. In the 49erFX, Marla Bergmann/Hanna Wille GER won narrowly by one point over Maru Scheel/Freya Feilcke GER. With a 3rd place in the Medal Race, Simon Diesch/Anna Markfort GER moved to the top in the Mixed 470. Theres Dahnke/Matti Cipra GER follow 2 points behind. In the Nacra 17 Margherita Porro/Stefano Dezulian ITA won superiorly with 18 points ahead of the Olympic medallists Paul Kohlhoff/Alica Stuhlemmer GER. Sebastian Kördel GER won the iQ-Foil men, Sebastian Schärer SUI, the only Swiss in action yesterday, remained on rank 4. All rankings and the daily report. From today until Sunday, the international classes will be in action, with the highlights being the 29er Euro Cup (177 teams, including 13 Swiss) and the German championship of the J/70 (53 teams including Stefan Seger SUI).

 Olympic & International Classes - Kieler Woche - Kiel GER - Day 4 The qualifying for the Medal Races was completed yesterday in Kiel in continuing light winds. In the ILCA 7, Alexandre Boite FRA has taken the lead, followed 12 points behind by Oskar Madonich UKR in second place. An exciting Medal Race is in the offing: ranks 2 to 6 are only 5 points apart. In the 49er, Lukasz Pryzbtek/Jacek Piasecki POL will start the Medal Race with a 9-point lead over Dominik Buksak/Szymon Wierzbicki POL. Margharita Porri/Stefano Dezulian ITA should grab the gold in the Nacra 17 with a 17-point lead. The Mixed 470 will remain exciting: Theres Dahnke/Matti Cipra GER are leading by just 2 points.  Olympic & International Classes - Kieler Woche - Kiel GER - Day 3 All classes were in action yesterday in light winds. Valtteri Uusitalo FIN is now the sole leader in ILCA 7, with Zan Luka Zelko SLO following one point behind. Martin Verhulst SUI follows in 69th place out of 119 participants. In ILCA 6, Wiktoria Golobiowska POL leads ahead of Nazli Donertas TUR. In the 49er, Andrew Mollerus/Ian McDiarmid USA are leading. The two Swiss teams had to put up with one early start each yesterday and are behind in 46th (Pablo Rüegge/Linus Abicht SUI) and 58th (Joshua Richner/Nilo Schärer SUI). In the 49erFX, Maru Scheel/Freya Feilcke GER won both races. Margherita Porro/Stefano Dezulian ITA extended their lead in the Nacra 17.
