Olympic Worldcup 2016 - Sail Melbourne - Melbourne AUS - Day 1

The first ISAF Olympic Classes Worldcup event 2016 began this morning in Melbourne. Once more, the concept of ISAF to make the Worldcup the major sail-racing event, did not work, as except the Lasers and Paralympic Classes with their World Championships a week ago, the non-OZ-attendance is practically nil.
The frist races today have already been finished and the first results are available. Winner of the first Laser Standard heat was Afendy Khairulnizam MAS ahead of Mark Spearman AUS. In the Lasers Radial, Tatiana Droszdowskaja BLR was on rank 1 ahead of Ashley Stoddart AUS.
