Olympic Worldcup 2016 - Olympic Classes Regatta - Miami FL, USA - Day 1

Light winds and long waiting ashore and afloat yesterday on the first day of the Miami Worldcup event, but finally 1 to 2 races per class were completed in favorable conditions for the light-wind specialists.
The only race of the 470 men was won by the African Champions Jim Asenathi/Roger Hudson RSA ahead of Andres and Franciso Ducasse CHI. Winners in the 470 women were Fernanda Oliveira/Ana-Luisa Barbachan BRA in front of Tsuf Zamet/Stav Brokman ISR.
The 49ers completed two races and Jorge Lima/Jose Costa POR are first ahead of Nico Delle-Karth/Nikolaus Resch AUT. Leaders in the 49ersFX are Ragna and Maia Agerup NOR ahead of Jena-Mai Hansen/Katja Salskov DEN.
The only race of the Finns went in favor of Jonas Hoegh-Christensen DEN ahead of Lei Gong CHN. Two races were sailed by the Nacras 17 and Mandy Mulder/Coen de Koning NED are in command in front of Santiago Lange/Cecilia Carranza ARG.
The only race in the RS:X men windsurfers ended with a Chinese 1 and 2 with Chunzhuang Liu CHN and Aichen Wang CHN. Dorian Van Rijsselberghe NED follows on 3rd. First in the only RS:X women windsurfers race was lilian De Geus NED followed by Patricia Freitas BRA and Bryony Shaw GBR.

470 women: Bolger/Shevitz USA 8th, Surrette/TenHofe CAN 10th
49er: Funk/Burd 7th, Flinn/Sawyer CAN and Mori/Barnes CAN 30th
49erFX: Dellenbaugh/Barry USA 11th, Rafuse/Boyd CAN 19th
Nacra-17: Mendelblatt/Mendelblatt USA 5th, Ramsay/Girke CAN 25th, Figueroa/Valdes Ortega PUR 28th
Finn: Muller USA 7th, Finch CAN 18th
