Olympic Worldcup 2016 - Olympic Classes Regatta - Miami FL, USA - Day 3

A steady 8-10 kn breeze prevailed yesterday, a relief after the two difficult light-wind days, and the lost races could be caught up in most classes.
New leaders in the 470 men are Barreiros/Curbelo ESP, winning two races, 2 points ahead of McNay Hughes USA. Panagiotis/Mantis GRE and Schmid/Reichstädter AUT at equal points are on 3rd. Fernanda Oliveira/Ana-Luiza Barbachan BRA defended the first place in the 470 women, but Lara Vadlau/Jolanta Ogar AUT reduced the backlog on 3 points.
Botin/Lopez ESP are the new leaders in the 49ers, as the previous first Delle-Karth/Resch AUT produced two premature starts yesterday and descended on rank 9. As best of the day, Sylvan/Anjemark SWE are new on rank 2. Change on top of the 49ersFX as well, where Alexandra Maloney/Molly Meech NZL are now on rank 1 with a 10 points' lead on Jena-Mai Hansen/Katja Salskov DEN. Ragna and Maia Agerup NOR are 3rd.
Caleb Paine USA took the lead in the Finns, but Lei Gong CHN and Jack Lilley AUS follow closely on the ranks 2 and 3, 1 and 2 points back. In the Nacras 17, Mandy Mulder/Coen de Koning NED came back on rank 1, relegating Jason Waterhouse/Lisa Darmanin AUS on 2nd. New on rank 3 is the double Moth World Champion Bora Gulari USA with Louisa Chafee as crew.
The Olympic Champion Dorian Van Rijsselberghe NED took the lead in the RS:X men windsurfers ahead of Pawel Tarnowski POL and Nick Dempsey GBR. Lilian De Geus NED defended her lead in the RS:X women windsurfers.
