During rain delayed racing yesterday until late in the afternoon, when some more races could be started in a breeze filling in to 17 kn during the competition.
No change on top of the 470 men with Barreiros/Curbelo ESP, leading 3 points ahead of McNay/Hughes USA. Lara Vadlau/Jolanta Ogar AUT won a race and moved on top at equal points with Fernanda Oliveira/Ana-Luiza Barbachan BRA in the 470 women.
Botin/Lopez ESP remain on rank 1 in the 49ers with Lima/Costa POR and Pink/Bithell GBR on the ranks 2 and 3. The interests in the last Qualification Series heats today will be at the cut for tomorrow's Medal Race, as Outteridge/Jensen AUS on rank 8 are only 3 points ahead of Delle-Karth/Resch AUT on 13th. No change on top of the 49ersFX: Maloney/Meech NZL are first ahead of Jansen/Salskov DEN and Agerup/Agerup NOR.
Olympic medalists have taken the initiative in the Finns with Jonas Hoegh-Christensen DEN leading ahead of Zach Railey USA. Jason Waterhouse/Lisa Darmanin AUS regained the lead in the Nacras 17 with Mandy Mulder/Coen de Koning NED on rank 2 now 7 points back.
Dorian Van Rijsselberghe NED extended his lead in the RS:X men windsurfers, contrary to his compatriot Lilian de Geus NED in the RS:X women windsurfers who had to let Byrony Shaw GBR join her on rank 1.
