Laser - Olympic Worldcup 2016 - Weymouth GBR - Day 2

After the cancellation of racing on the opening day due to lack of wind, the breeze was there - 10 to 15 kn - and three heats were completed.
Tom Burton AUS has clearly taken the lead in the Lasers Standard ahead of Elliott Hanson GBR and Jesper Stalheim SWE tied on the ranks 2 and 3. Lee Parkhill CAN is 8th, Chris Barnard USA 32nd. With 37 participants, the fleet is rather small, as many Olympians are not present.
In the Radials, Lijia Xu CHN is on top on the Olympic waters of Weymouth, the venue of her Olympic Gold 4 years ago. On rank 2 is, as at the Games, Marit Bouwmeester NED on 2nd, and Emma Plaeschart BEL is 3rd. Brenda Bowskill CAN is 19th.
