Optimist - World Championship 2016 - Vilamoura POR - Day 4

Moderate winds prevailed again on the first day of the Final Series with the fleet split in Gold, Silver, ..... and two race were completed.
Max Wallenberg SUI finished 27th and 14th and lost the overall lead. Matthias Berthet NOR is the new leader 7 points ahead of Muhamad Fauzi Kavan Shah MAS and 10 points ahead of Max Wallenberg SUI. Adrian Surroca GER on the 4th place is also a candidate for a medal. The best ranked North Americans sailing in the Goldfleet are Justin Callaghan USA on 7th (with a race win), Rodgers Zane USA on 16th, Sebastian Riquelme MEX on 21st, Thomas Hall USA on 23rd, Samuel Bruce USA on 57th and Iker Loza Ramirez MEX on 58th.
