RS:X-Windsurfing - World Championship - Torbole ITA - Start today

Today begins the World Championship of the Olympic RS:X windsurfers on Lake Garda with 130 men from 40 nations and 5 continents, as well as 106 women from 36 nations and 5 continents. Olympic hopefulls (see list) from all three North American federations are among the participants. ----- In addition to the Champion titles, nation berths for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Regatta are at stake. 10 places had been allotted at the 2018 Worlds (11 in the women), 8 more per class can be earned now.
