The Final Series at the Olympic High-Performance Class Worlds in Auckland began yesterday with three races per class. ----- Racing in the Goldfleet with the top-25 by Class, Nevin Snow/Dane Wilson remain in the top-10 with a 6th place overall in the 49ers. So did Paris Henken/Anna Tobias in the 49ersFX now on rank 10 overall. Riley Gibbs/Anna Weis are on the 14th place in the Nacra 17. All three teams are on 2020 Olympic Nations Qualification Berths for the moment. ----- The Results of all North Americans and the latest US Sailing Team Report. -------------------- Hereafter the top ranked of the three speed classes: ----- Erik Heil/Thomas Plössel GER defended the lead in the 49ers, 9 points ahead of Peter Burling/Blair Tuke NZL. Already 32 points is the backlog of Lucas Rual/Emile Amoros FRA, best of the day (1/4/6) advancing on rank 3. ----- In the 49ersFX, Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA extended their lead on 11 points. The best of the day (2/6/1) Annemiek Bekkering/Anette Duetz NED are new on rank 2. ----- Jumping on 3rd are the past Optimist World Champion Tina Lutz GER with Susann Beucke GER. ----- Leader change in the Nacra 17: Vittorio Bisarro/Maelle Frascari ITA have taken the lead 11 points ahead of Jason Waterhouse/Lisa Darmanin AUS.
