During the past 12 hours, the first multihulls have rounded the southern way mark and are now heading north towards Martinique. 'Edmond de Rothschild' with Franck Cammas/Charles Caudrelier FRA extended their lead in the Ultime trimarans 381 miles ahead of 'Banque Populaire' with Armel Le Cléac'h/Kevin Escoffier FRA who already rounded the Brazilian island of Trinidade. ----- A little further north, the OceanFifty trimarans are about to round the Fernando Noronha Islands. Sébastien Rogues/Matthieu Souben FRA are still leading with now 60 miles ahead of Sam Goodchild GBR/Aymeric Chapellier FRA. ----- The Open 60 are currently passing the Doldrums on their way to the Fernando De Noronha Islands. 'LinkedOut' with Thomas Ruyant/Morgan Lagravière FRA are leading 68 miles ahead of 'Charal' with Jérémy Beyou FRA/Christopher Pratt GBR. ----- The Class 40 will reach the Cape Verde Islands today.
