RORC Transatlantic Race - Lanzarote ESP - Day 7

After 7 days and 22 hours, the 100-foot Super Maxi 'Comanche' crossed the finish line as the winner of the Monohulls and 4th overall in the Transatlantic Race. Mitch Booth AUS and his team managed to improve the record by more than two days. 'Comanche' now holds the records for all major offshore classics: Transatlantic (West-East and East-West), Fastnet Race, Sydney-Hobart Race, Middlesea Race, Transpac, and Caribbean 600. Today the ranking by calculated time (IRC) will be decided, with Jens Dolmer DEN's Volvo 70 'Trifolk' expected to be the second to finish tomorrow night. ----- The race tracker and the report.
