With two races held in moderate winds, the Star World Championship finally got underway after two days of waiting. ----- With ranks 3 and 4, Piet Eckert SUI/Frederico Melo POR took the lead one point ahead of the title defenders Diego Negri/Alessandro Sodano ITA. Scott Barnard/Phil Trinter USA follow in third place, and only one point behind are Max Kohlhoff/Ole Burzinski GER in fourth place.
