America's Cup News - Barcelona ESP - Broken Mast for Alinghi-Red-Bull

During training in around 20 knots of wind, Alinghi Red Bull lost her mast while bearing away. There was no further damage or injuries. The causes are now being analysed, it remains to be seen when Alinghi-Red-Bull will be ready for action again. The Preliminary Regatta starts in Barcelona in 69 days. The report.
