South of New Zealand, the leading trio has moved closer together: Charlie Dalin FRA leads Yoann Richomme FRA by just 86 miles and Sébastien Simon FRA has also reduced the gap to 164 miles. Behind them, a huge lull zone has formed, slowing down the chasers and bringing them closer together: Thomas Ruyant FRA in 4th is now 460 miles ahead of the last of this groupe, Clarisse Cremer FRA, in 13th. Boris Herrmann GER in 10th is now 997 miles behind, followed 95 miles back by Justine Mettraux SUI in 11th.
